EURASIACENTRIFUGE@GMAIL.COM are Supplier & Exporter Of Centrifugal Marine Oil Separators, industrial centrifuge, Oil Purifiers, Biodiesel Centrifuges, waste oil purifier, VCO Centrifuge Manufactured By Alfa Laval, Westfalia, Mitsubishi kakoki. The processing capacity of the centrifuge machines are between 500LPH to 20000LPH.

HEATPAC EHS (Electric Heating System) units are designed for heating all the types of mineral oils commonly used in booster systems, and prior to centrifugal separation. They are particularly suitable for use with high-density, high-viscosity fuel oils, as well as sensitive lubricating oils and turbine oils. The special design of the heating elements provides high-efficiency heat transfer that also makes sure the heating process does not make the oil deteriorate in any way. HEATPAC EHS units are compact and lightweight, making them easy to install. They feature start-and-forget fully automatic operation, with instant-response electronic temperature control with an accuracy of ?1?C. These systems are type-approved by ABS, BV, DnV, GL, LR, NK, RINA and RMRS. HEATPAC CBM heaters are designed around a brazed heat exchanger with stainless steel plates. They provide a cost-effective, low-investment path to preheating fuel oils and lubricating oils before these pass to a centrifugal separator. These compact, lightweight units are easy to install or retrofit, even in very confined spaces. With no parts that need replacing, they have the big advantage of being virtually maintenance-free.

The HEATPAC CBM heater is designed mainly for use in the following applications:
  • Preheating of fuel oil prior to centrifugal separation.
  • Preheating of lube oil prior to centrifual separation.
The heater uses either thermal oil or hot water as a heating medium.

Working principle and design

The HEATPAC CBM heater contains a series of corrugated stainless steel plates mounted together to form channels through which the heating medium and the oil flow in opposite directions. Heat is efficiently transferred from the heating medium to the oil through the corrugated surface of the plates.
The media are kept apart in the unit by a brazed seal around the edge of the plates. The contact points of the plates are also brazed to withstand the pressure of the heating medium.

Standard accessories

  • Counterflanges including gaskets and bolts

Optional equipment

  • Temperature control equipment
  • Regulating valve
  • Relief valve

Heater capacity

Up to 30 m3/h, for preheating.
Actual capacity depends on temperature programme, permitted pressure drop, properties of the heating medium.
The HEATPAC CBM is available in two types: CBM 26 and CBM 76. Each type is available with 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100 plates.

Installation

The HEATPAC CBM heater can be installed either vertically or horizontally when thermal oil or hot water are used.

System working principle

The fuel or lubricating oil is fed continuously to the HEATPAC heater. A signal from the Pt-100 temperature sensor at the oil outlet is transmitted to the HEATPAC control unit (EHS-61) or external controller, such as an EPC-41/400 or EPC 50 (EHS-62) which regulates the amount of electric power to the heating elements. Heat is transferred to the oil through the corrugated aluminium surface. (Fig. 3).
Overall incremental operation is automatically controlled by the HEATPAC control unit or the external controller. The HEATPAC control unit and power unit features specially designed thyristor modules which perform the incremental feeding of power and prevent any interference with other shipboard electric and electronic equipment. A unique characteristic of the cast aluminium heating elements is the rapid response to any load change. This feature, in combination with the specially designed control system, ensures outstanding control performance, independent from any fluctuations in flow rate or oil temperature.
Standard safety equipment comprises a high temperature sensor located in close proximity to the aluminium heating element. (The high temperature sensor cooperates with an independent temperature guard in the control unit / power unit to ensure protection from overheating.) Further the heater automatically turns off if the pump starter is turned off. This feature ensures that the heater is fully protected from overheating in the event of a systems operations failure.

Heater capacity

The actual capacity depends on temperature increase and flow rate. Six sizes are available, from 7 to 72 kW. The power loads for each size are shown in Fig. 4.

Main system components

HEATPAC EHM Heater, standard design

The heater comprises rectangular diecast aluminium heating elements mounted on a flange to form a compact heating block which is inserted in a pressure vessel made of mild steel. A baffle inside the vessel divides the flow into two passes. The oil inlet and outlet are located opposite each other on the same level, enabling installation in a series.
The terminal box housing at the top of the heater is separated from the hot pressure vessel to maintain a low temperature in the box. The hot side of the pressure vessel is adequately insulated with 25-mm mineral wool wrapped in aluminium sheet.

HEATPAC control unit (EHS-61 systems), standard design

The control unit, housed in a robust cabinet, comprises a control module, two thyristor modules and contactors for feeding electric power to the heater. The control module containes the essential plant-dependent parameters and a PI regulating function.
The front panel is equipped with power switch and modeselection switch, alarm lamp push button, three push buttons for setting of parameters, and a sectional display window indicating current temperature. Six light-emitting diodes behind the display window clearly indicate mode of operation and alarm signals. Values and codes for alarm identification are shown on the panel. The control unit can be linked to a remote computer in the control room through a current-loop interface.
